Ignorance

Lost in ignorance because of pride

What a sad life to live

Frozen in place by ideas without awareness

Unwilling to ask questions because of fear

Never learning, growing, understanding or knowing

Why would anybody choose to live that way?

Fear of judgement,

Fear of being discovered

Fear of not being who they want people to believe

Lost in a loop of continuous blame,

Thinking it’s easier to pretend and lie

Never realizing no one will know them

They will continue to feel alone

They would rather hide than admit the truth

They will never understand that being authentic is key

The key to acceptance, forgiveness, and love

Sharing their sorrows, hardships and fears

They would be able to understand

They are not alone
